Axel high performance slash point wood screws do not require pilot holes due to the sharp point allowing quick and effective insertion. The dual threaded shank requires less torque to drive the screw into the timber and the serrated edge of the thread further reduces the torque required. The unique ribs on the under head of the screw improve countersinking.
